what if you cropped a bit off the top and bottom. powerful image!
Don't crop horizontally, I wouldn't want any of its height lost. I really love how the distant elements are totally blown out and almost blending with the sky, dude hella pops. Almost wish there was a little more warmth in the foreground. More warm yellow in the lights of the grass, less pastely white, and even a little umber glaze to the foreground shadows, might be worth glazing on to test, you can always wipe it off.But really nice work on these paintings, good mood and power.
thanks guys . I'll try the warmth on the middle ground tomorrow with some raw sienna ( kinda yellow , kinda umbery). Good eye Dusty and thanks to both of you for the comments. Just like the good ol' days of narrative painting.
Looks awesome. I think you should take out that large tree to the left. It's competing with the dude. I would also do something with that far hand area. Seems kinda tangent-y with the top of the grass and the gesture could be more interesting.Great color + lighting, man.
thanks Monico. I'll see what I can do about the things you pointed out .
Wow, It's really cool..I like your color and mood.
love this painting Ray
